Accessibility Statement
What is SHTROM Creative's accessibility commitment?
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 AA — real heading structure, full keyboard access, 44px touch targets, motion that respects your reduce-motion setting, and contrast that holds up against our dark backgrounds. Details below, plus how to report a barrier.
Our commitment
SHTROM Creative is committed to making shtromcreative.com usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Standards we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we've built in
This Site is built with accessibility as part of its foundation, not an afterthought:
A real heading structure
Every page has a single, correctly structured top-level heading, even pages — like this one — that don't visually need one.
Meaningful alt text
Photography and content images carry descriptive alt text; purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
Full keyboard access
Every interactive element — links, buttons, form fields — is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus state.
Real touch targets
Every tap target meets a 44×44px minimum, on every page, not just the ones that happened to get tested.
Motion that respects your settings
Every scroll-driven animation on this Site respects your operating system's "reduce motion" setting. Turn it on, and the Site switches to plain, instant scrolling with all content visible at full opacity — whether or not our own animation script ever finishes loading.
Contrast that holds up
Color combinations are chosen to meet WCAG contrast minimums against our dark backgrounds.
Known limitations
We're a small team and this Site evolves constantly. If you hit a page, video, or interactive element that doesn't work well with your assistive technology, we want to know.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this Site, please tell us. Email standout@shtromcreative.com or call +1 (813) 585-2761, and include the page URL and what happened — we'll work to fix it.
